Srinagar, May 26 (KNO): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Molvi Muhammad Umar Farooq on Monday said collective efforts are needed to eradicate the menace of online gambling, saying that hundreds of families have been affected due to it. Delivering a Nikaah speech, Mirwaiz, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said a large number of people are indulging in online gambling while hundreds of families have been affected due to it. “The government needs to take measures in this regard while the society should also play its role to end this menace,” he said, appealing to people to unite and put collective efforts to end such a menace. He added that the Imams, Mohalla committees and youth must play a role in this regard to help the society in the fight against online gambling—(KNO)
